This policy explains how Grupo Comex handles personal data collected through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy rules on cookies.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Grupo Comex (Comex IOR Services), Avenida del Libertador 5990, piso 5, 1428, Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any question about your data, write to comercial@comex-ar.es.

2. What data we collect

• Data you send us through the contact form or the WhatsApp chat form, or by email or WhatsApp: name, work email, phone number, country of origin, destination country, your message and the details of what you want to import, plus any file you attach.
• With your consent, technical and usage data gathered by cookies and similar technologies: IP address, device and browser, pages visited, interactions and the campaign that brought you here.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To contact you, understand your needs and offer a tailored service proposal. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (Art. 6.1.f).
• To measure how the site is used and improve it with Google Analytics 4 and Hotjar. Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a).
• To measure and optimise our advertising campaigns on Google, Bing, Meta and ChatGPT ads. Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a).

4. Who receives your data

Your lead data is not sold, shared or transferred to any other company. It is used only by the Grupo Comex team to get in touch with you, understand your needs and prepare a tailored proposal. The person who contacts you will write from comercial@comex-ar.es.

We rely on technology providers that process data on our behalf and under their own terms, such as website hosting, Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), Hotjar, and the advertising platforms listed below. Analytics and advertising tools only run after you accept them.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Nothing other than strictly necessary storage is loaded before you decide, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time.

6. International transfers

Grupo Comex operates from Argentina, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Some of our providers are based in the United States or elsewhere; where that happens, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to answer you and to manage any resulting commercial relationship, and afterwards only for the period required by law. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the periods set by each provider, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and get a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected or data erased;
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
